Replace a film without changing its existing link
Use the film’s New version action when you want to update the file behind an existing presentation.
What to do
- Open the existing film in your library.
- Under Video, find New version and choose Upload a new version.
- Select the new cut and let its upload and save finish.
- Check the existing link, playback and presentation after the update.
What to expect
The replacement keeps the film’s link, views, settings, embed and placement.
Keep in mind
A replacement is different from adding an alternate cut in Client Review. Check the review project separately if clients need access to multiple versions.
