Vault is included across plans and uses the macOS app for protected viewing. Arrange that workflow with your recipient before sending a sensitive project.
What to do
- Use Drop files for secure upload for a new protected master, or inspect the existing film’s Vault control.
- Have the recipient install the compatible macOS app using the official download.
- Test a short permitted clip and the intended recipient access before sharing the full project.
- Contact support privately for questions about a suspected leak or a protection test.
What to expect
The recipient uses the protected macOS viewing workflow.
Keep in mind
Vault includes encrypted local playback, supported capture restrictions, visible session identification and invisible per-person forensic marks in the macOS app. These are distinct controls; forensic detection depends on the recovered copy. A camera can still film a screen. Do not describe the controls as unbreakable or claim every recording method is blocked.
