Make the film understandable and usable beyond autoplay visuals. Provide meaningful surrounding text, reviewed captions where appropriate and controls that can be reached by keyboard.

A director's page opens with silent autoplay footage and no project explanation. A visitor who cannot hear or operate the player misses important context.

Try reaching play, pause and captions without a mouse. Read the surrounding text without playing the film. If essential information exists only in audio or fast-changing images, decide how that information will also be available.
