Generate and check captions
The film’s Captions section offers generated subtitles that you can review and edit.
What to do
- Open the film and find Captions.
- Choose Generate captions and wait for the status to complete.
- Review the wording, names and timing before sharing with a client.
- Check your plan’s remaining caption allowance if generation is refused.
What to expect
Your film has reviewed captions rather than unchecked transcription.
Keep in mind
Generation can make mistakes. The free allowance is 20 minutes per calendar month; paid plans have their own allowance. Caption minutes are distinct from storage.

For a failed generation, include the film length and displayed error privately.
