Choose an export your client can play
For broad browser compatibility, start with H.264 video and AAC audio in an MP4. Other formats depend on the browser, operating system and hardware.
What to do
- Export a short representative clip with your chosen settings.
- Upload it and open its share link on the recipient’s likely device.
- Check picture, audio and seeking before delivering the full project.
- If the browser cannot play it, prepare a compatible review export or arrange the supported native workflow.
What to expect
You have tested the actual viewing path rather than relying on the file extension.
Keep in mind
Browser playback uses your uploaded export without another platform re-encode. Codec, device and connection requirements still apply. Supported camera originals and Vault playback use the compatible macOS app; they are not universally playable in web browsers.
