Check file size and available storage
The current per-file upload ceiling is 5 TB (5,000,000,000,000 bytes). Your account must also have enough available ready-to-play storage.
What to do
- Check the exact file size before uploading.
- Check the available storage in your library. Cold archive capacity is a separate pool.
- On Starter, also check whether your one-film slot is already occupied.
- If you need more space, remove a film you no longer need or review the applicable plan/storage options before trying again.
What to expect
You know whether the file fits both the per-file ceiling and your account allowance.
Keep in mind
A 5 TB per-file ceiling does not mean every plan includes 5 TB. Existing films and other uploads use the same allowance.
