Vimeo import
Bring available films across from Vimeo
Connect Vimeo, choose the available films and import their files directly. There is no need to download and re-upload each available file yourself.
What to do
- Open the Vimeo importer from your account and connect the Vimeo account that owns the films.
- Read the file label: Source file, Vimeo re-encoded version, or source unconfirmed.
- Choose the films that fit your remaining storage, then start Import. Keep the importer open while it works.
- Check each completed import’s picture, sound and sharing settings before replacing your old links.
What to expect
Imported films appear in your uncompressed.io library with the files Vimeo made available.
Keep in mind
Import cannot recover an original that Vimeo no longer provides. Existing Vimeo URLs, embeds, comments and access settings should not be assumed to move automatically.
