Video Approval Report PDF: Keep a Clear Project Record
A project post-mortem should make the review history understandable after delivery. Save the request, its version and timecode, the work described as completed, and the decision that followed.

Take the working example
What the report should contain
Start with the project name, report date, selected films and an invoice reference if you use one. Include client requests and replies with their recorded dates, the relevant video positions and the version identifiers.
Distinguish “requested,” “marked applied” and “approved.” Include the creator’s completion description and state where historical dates were not recorded. A list of checked boxes is less informative than the work description that accompanies each resolved request.
Inspect a sample before adopting the workflow
The downloadable sample uses synthetic project notes, not customer footage or private client data. It demonstrates how a long request wraps across pages and how missing completion dates are disclosed.
Check that your PDF viewer shows the complete report, including drawings and replies. If exporting from another tool, read that tool’s report instructions: some reports store comments as PDF annotations rather than placing every reply in the page body.
Availability in uncompressed.io
Mac V2.0 was submitted to Apple for review on September 20, 2026. Its new offline comment drafts and project PDF export are not yet advertised as available in the public App Store version. Check the release version before relying on either feature.
In the submitted Mac build, creator settings provides project post-mortem export. The creator selects films, adds a project name, invoice reference and summary, and exports a PDF using freshly retrieved review history. Locally recorded completion descriptions and approval confirmations are included where available.
What the record does not prove
A creator’s completion statement does not independently verify the edit. The report’s snapshot hash is not a digital signature, and the local journal is not an immutable, centrally maintained audit trail. Missing historical timestamps cannot be reconstructed by exporting a PDF.
Keep the report with the actual deliverables and your normal project records. It can explain work alongside an invoice, but it does not replace the invoice, contract or explicit client acceptance. Do not label it a legally certified proof-of-work document.
