Why a team should stay with Ziflow
Ziflow’s pricing page documents workflow stages, proofing capabilities and audit-history allowances that vary by plan. If your approval process depends on those controls, a simpler video workflow is not automatically a replacement.
Write down which assets, approval stages and records your team actually uses. Ask procurement or the project owner to verify requirements before removing a service from an established process.
When to evaluate a video-focused workflow
A small production may primarily need to show a cut, receive timecoded feedback, distinguish versions and deliver an export. Test that sequence in uncompressed.io with a representative client.
Use the current plan information for storage, team seats and captions. Do not count an external reviewer as a paid creator seat, or assume your internal collaborators are free because reviewers are.
Do not confuse a PDF with an audit platform
Ziflow lists downloadable comments and audit-history features. uncompressed.io’s new Mac project report records available review information and local completion descriptions; it does not claim equivalent enterprise audit retention or immutability.
Mac V2.0 was submitted to Apple for review on September 20, 2026. Its new offline comment drafts and project PDF export are not yet advertised as available in the public App Store version. Check the release version before relying on either feature.
An evaluation that produces a decision
Take one finished, non-confidential project. Save its existing feedback record, recreate a sample review round and inspect the exported deliverable. Identify the steps that are easier and the controls that would be lost.
Keep Ziflow if those lost controls are essential. Choose a narrower workflow only when it actually reduces work for your creator and client without dropping a requirement.
