Frame.io prices by the member, per month, plus tax. Pro is $15 for each member up to 5; Team is $25 for each member up to 15; past that, Enterprise has a custom price. People who only review through a share link are not members and cost nothing.

Storage rides on the member count. Pro starts at 2 TB and Team at 3 TB, and Frame.io adds 2 TB for every member invited, so five members on Pro come with 10 TB. Frame.io’s free tier, with up to 2 members and 2 GB, is covered on its own page: Frame.io free plan limits.

Each row is the monthly bill for that many people inside the account. The Frame.io column uses the cheapest plan that fits: Pro up to 5 members, Team from 6. The other columns are our plans, with $15 for each person past the seats a plan includes.

Read it both ways. Up to five people, Frame.io Pro gives more storage per dollar than our plans: $75 a month buys 10 TB, where our Max plan with five people is $144 for 3 TB. If your team needs many terabytes online, the per-member model is the better deal.
The sixth person changes the picture. Frame.io Pro stops at 5 members, so six people move to Team at $25 each: $150 a month for 13 TB. Here the sixth seat costs the same $15 as the second, so six people on Pro is $114 and on Lite $84. At fifteen people, Frame.io Team is $375 a month with 31 TB; Studio with fifteen seats is $349 with 8 TB. Over twelve months at the monthly rate, before tax, five members on Frame.io Pro come to $900 and fifteen on Team to $4,500.

The practical point is the same on both sides: do not buy a seat for a client, a producer who only watches, or an agency contact who leaves notes. On Frame.io, though, a colleague you add inside the account as Comment Only still costs a full seat, so keep watchers on share links.

Stay if your team lives in Frame.io's editor integrations
Frame.io's pricing page lists a Premiere integration, a Final Cut Pro integration and Camera to Cloud on every plan, Free included. If your edit already runs through those, the per-member price buys a workflow, and switching to save a few dollars a seat is the wrong trade.
Stay if you need terabytes per person
Frame.io adds 2 TB for every member invited. A five-person team on Pro gets 10 TB for $75 a month, far more storage per dollar than our plans give.
Stay if you need share controls we do not offer
Frame.io Pro lists passphrase-protected shares, share-link expiration and static watermarking; Team adds internal comments and restricted projects. Our browser links have per-film passwords, but no link expiry and no watermark.
Consider a flat seat if you grow past five with modest storage
Frame.io moves a sixth member to Team at $25 each. Here every extra seat is $15 on any paid plan, so a six-person team on Pro pays $114 against $150, trading terabytes for a lower bill.
Consider it if the export itself is what gets judged
Browser playback uses your uploaded export without another platform re-encode. Codec, device and connection requirements still apply. Clients approve an exact version under their name, and their timecoded notes come into DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro as markers.
Consider it if one person sends one film
The free Starter plan holds 5 GB and one film at a time, with the review room included and no card. Paid plans start at $9 a month for 200 GB.

How much does Frame.io cost per user?
Frame.io's pricing page lists Pro at $15 per member per month plus tax, for up to 5 members, and Team at $25 per member per month plus tax, for up to 15 members. Free is $0 for up to 2 members. Enterprise has a custom price and custom member count. Prices are shown in USD.
Is there a cheaper annual price per member?
Frame.io's pricing page shows annual billing only as 'Save 13%'. It does not print an annual per-member price, so this page does not calculate one. Check the price at checkout before you budget for a year.
Do clients and reviewers need a paid Frame.io seat?
No. Frame.io's help center says Reviewers work through a share link and need neither to sign up nor to be paid for. A reviewer who is not logged in is asked for a name and email address on their first comment. Content Admins and Members do take seats.
Does a Comment Only or View Only teammate count as a seat?
Yes, if they are an internal user. Frame.io's article on user roles says such a user is still a paid seat with very restricted access. Guests are a separate, free user type with limits: 1 Guest on Free and 3 on Pro, according to Frame.io's help center.
How does storage grow with members on Frame.io?
Pro includes 2 TB and Team 3 TB, and Frame.io adds 2 TB for every member invited. Storage add-ons are sold in 250 GB increments; the help article does not give their price.
What does a yearly plan with extra seats cost on uncompressed.io?
The plan is billed as ten months for twelve: Pro is $390 a year, Max $990 and Studio $1,990. Extra seats are $180 a year each, with no yearly discount. Six people on Pro, yearly, is $1,290.
Price your team by storage, not by headcount
Every paid plan takes extra seats at $15 a month. Max includes 2 seats and Studio 5. Outside reviewers never take a seat, and the free Starter plan (5 GB, one film at a time) includes the review room.
