In September 2026 PetaPixel and PhotographyTalk reported Vimeo business accounts being moved from Advanced, at USD 75 a month billed annually, to Studio at USD 400 a month billed annually, with 30 days' notice before renewal. Vimeo's self-serve plans also carry a 2 TB a month delivery threshold. Two things are official. Vimeo’s help center describes the Studio plan at USD 400 a month billed annually, with 10 TB of total storage, 36 TB of yearly bandwidth with no monthly cap, 10 seats and room for up to 200 team members (read 28 September 2026). And its bandwidth article sets a 2 TB a month delivery threshold on the self-serve plans: Vimeo lists 2 TB/month for Starter, Standard and Advanced. Creator, rolling out by account, lists 1 TB/month. Check the plan on your account. Exceeding a threshold does not automatically stop playback; Vimeo describes outreach and resolution options.
One thing is reported. On 4 September 2026 PetaPixel wrote that Vimeo can decide an account no longer qualifies for an individual plan and move it to Studio, quoting Advanced at USD 75 a month billed annually and Studio at USD 400, with customers emailed 30 days ahead of renewal; PhotographyTalk covered the same move on 5 September and noted that Advanced was still on the public pricing page at USD 75. Both were read on 28 September 2026. Neither is a Vimeo price list, and the only figure that applies to you is the one in your own renewal email. Max: 500 GB ready to play plus 2.5 TB of cold archive, 3 TB in all. Studio: 1 TB plus 8 TB, 9 TB. Archived films must be restored before they stream, embed or go to review; extra storage is sold per TB.
Seats
2 seats on Max, 5 on Studio, extra seats USD 15 a month each. Seats have no storage attached. Clients never need a seat; the share link is their access.
No delivery charge
There is no bandwidth allowance and no threshold. Views are not metered, external viewers are not counted, and there is no overage line. What you pay for is room and seats.
No re-encode
Browser playback uses your uploaded export without another platform re-encode. Codec, device and connection requirements still apply. A 200 Mbps master streams at 200 Mbps, connection permitting, on any plan.
Review rooms
The share link is the access: no client account, no password unless you set one. Comments pin to the frame with author and timecode, drawings sit on the picture, approvals run red or green per version, and notes pull into DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro as markers.
One-sign-in import
Sign in to Vimeo once, click Import all, hands off: the files move server to server, a few hours for a large library, with titles, posters and descriptions. Original uploads come over only when Vimeo retained and exposes them; existing Vimeo links, comments and analytics do not transfer.

Public videos live on vimeo.com with a feed, showcases and channels. Nothing here is public in that sense: a film lives at a clean link on your own page and plays where you embed it.
Stay with Vimeo for OTT, live events and the marketing suite
Subscription video, live streaming, lead capture and the seat counts a large organisation needs are Vimeo products. None of them exists here, and this page does not pretend otherwise.
Move if the bill is for delivery you do not need metered
A production company sending finished work to clients rarely needs a public audience. It needs the master to play as graded, a review room the client can open from a link, seats for the team, and no meter on how often the client watches.

then let the import do the rest.
Vimeo keeps source files only while the paid plan is kept, so download every original you still need before the renewal date passes; the checklist is in export Vimeo originals before the plan lapses. Then sign in to Vimeo once from the dashboard here, click Import all, and hands off: the files move server to server without passing through your connection. Where Vimeo exposes the original, the original comes; where it does not, the largest file Vimeo serves is pulled, which is why the export comes first. Did Vimeo raise the Advanced plan to USD 400 a month?
Not on its public price list. PetaPixel (4 September 2026) and PhotographyTalk (5 September 2026), both read 28 September 2026, report accounts on Advanced at USD 75 a month billed annually being told they no longer qualified for it and were moving to Studio at USD 400 a month billed annually, with 30 days' notice before renewal. PhotographyTalk notes Advanced was still on the public pricing page at USD 75 on 5 September, and PetaPixel reports that Studio is not sold directly and that Vimeo decides which accounts move to it. The figure that applies to you is the one in your own renewal email.
What happens past 2 TB a month on Vimeo?
Vimeo lists 2 TB/month for Starter, Standard and Advanced. Creator, rolling out by account, lists 1 TB/month. Check the plan on your account. Exceeding a threshold does not automatically stop playback; Vimeo describes outreach and resolution options. Its bandwidth article describes a seven-day window to resolve the matter after outreach, and says an unresolved case puts the account at risk of temporary suspension, during which videos stop playing wherever they are embedded.

No, and the names are a coincidence. Vimeo Studio, per its help page read 28 September 2026, is 10 TB of storage, 36 TB of yearly bandwidth with no monthly cap and 10 seats, on a platform with a public audience, showcases, OTT and live events. Studio here is 1 TB ready to play plus 8 TB of archive, 5 seats, review rooms, and views that are not metered at all, on a service built for delivering finished work to clients. Archived films must be restored before they stream.
Does uncompressed.io re-encode what I upload?
Browser playback uses your uploaded export without another platform re-encode. Codec, device and connection requirements still apply. Vimeo publishes maximum delivery bitrates by rendition: up to 22 Mbps for 4K H.264 and 16 Mbps for its 4K HDR/HEVC rendition. Actual output can be lower; these are not upload recommendations or universal visual-quality scores.
How many seats do I get, and what does a tenth one cost?
Max includes 2 seats and Studio includes 5; extra seats are USD 15 a month each, with no storage attached. Ten seats, the number Vimeo Studio includes, is Studio plus 5 extra seats, USD 294 a month on monthly billing. External client viewers never need a seat: the share link is their access.
Pay for storage and seats, not for plays.
Max is USD 99 a month for 500 GB ready to play plus 2.5 TB of archive and 2 seats; Studio is USD 219 a month for 1 TB plus 8 TB and 5 seats. Yearly is eleven months for twelve. Views are not metered on any plan.
