As of 25 September 2026, the first three stages have passed: nothing new can be sold on Vimeo On Demand. Buyers should download any title that allows downloads before 20 November. Vimeo points sellers to Vimeo OTT, but its seller FAQ says content and subscriber data do not migrate automatically.

Can buyers still watch Vimeo On Demand films?
Yes, until 20 November 2026. Vimeo's viewer FAQ says purchases stay available at vimeo.com/purchases until then, and rentals expire on their original schedule or on the shutdown date, whichever comes first.
Will Vimeo delete the seller's videos?
No. Vimeo's seller FAQ says the underlying videos are not deleted by the shutdown and stay in the account under the plan's storage terms. The storefront, prices and buyer access are what go away.
Can a buyer's purchase move to another platform?
No. Vimeo's viewer FAQ says purchased content and entitlements cannot be transferred to other platforms. Refunds are not issued automatically; Vimeo Support reviews requests case by case.
